Benchbook: Attorney Tré Critelli will be assisting the Judicial Branch Education Division in updating the Iowa Judges Benchbook. The project is intended as a reinvention of the benchbook and will be an ongoing process.  For the first time the benchbook will be written by judges for judges.  Look for more information in June 2014.

Curriculum Committees: The clerks curriculum committee is busy and one of its top priorities is developing a full orientation for new "big C" clerks.  In addition, the juvenile court officer (JCO) curriculum committee is revisiting the orientation and JCO school for new JCOs.

The education division will continue to monitor its training efforts to ensure presentation of both relevant and timely information.

Next on the Education Division Calendar:

•        Cedar Falls Regional CLE, April 18

•        JCO Annual Conference, May 1-2

•        Education Forum for Kids at Risk, May 1-2 (Children's Justice)
